LAUSANNE, Switzerland (AP) - The president of the World Anti-Doping Agency says Alberto Contador should be considered a "cheat'' now that he has been found guilty of doping and stripped of his 2010 Tour de France title.

WADA President John Fahey says anyone found with a banned substance in their body "is a cheat. It is as simple as that.''

Fahey spoke Tuesday in an interview with The Associated Press, saying that Monday's ruling against Contador by the Court of Arbitration for Sport was "clear.''

Sports' highest court held the Spaniard responsible for his positive doping test during his 2010 Tour victory. It rejected Contador's claim that eating contaminated beef caused his failed test.
