TUCSON, Arizona (Ticker) -- Pinch-hitter Chris Donnels delivered a three-run double in the eighth inning, lifting the Arizona Diamondbacks to a 6-2 Cactus League victory over the Milwaukee Brewers. Donnels' hit off Everett Stull came during a four-run inning that snapped a 2-2 tie. Craig Counsell smacked a two-run homer in the third for the Diamondbacks. Arizona starter Rick Helling worked seven strong innings, allowing two runs and seven hits. The veteran righthander struck out one without a walk. Byung-Hyun Kim gave up a hit in a scoreless inning for the win. Lenny Harris went 3-for-4 with an RBI for the Brewers. Milwaukee starter Glendon Rusch gave up two runs and five hits over six innings. The veteran lefthander struck out five without a walk. |
