WINTER HAVEN, Florida (Ticker) -- The Cleveland Indians scored five times in the eighth inning to rally for a 12-10 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays in a Grapefruit League game. All five of the runs came off loser Dan Plesac. Travis Fryman and Ricky Gutierrez each drove in four runs for the Tribe, who trailed 6-0 after two innings. Each team collected 14 hits in the slugfest. Fryman had four hits and Omar Vizquel three for the Indians. Homer Bush and Chris Woodward each had three hits for the Blue Jays. Charles Nagy had a long afternoon for the Indians, allowing nine runs -- eighth earned -- and 12 hits in five innings. Woodward and Cleveland's Einar Diaz homered in the seventh. . |
