 Record: 62-56 Last Game: 4-3 win at Chicago, August 14 Streak: Won 3 SS Julio Lugo underwent successful arm surgery on Wednesday and will be sidelined for the rest of the season, the team announced. Lugo underwent surgery to repair a displaced fracture in his left ulna bone. The surgery was performed by Dr. Tom Mehlhoff, who inserted a plate and several screws to anchor the fracture. Lugo will be in a soft cast for four weeks and the fracture is expected to heal in approximately 10-12 weeks. Lugo suffered the injury when he was hit by a pitch from Chicago Cubs RHP Kerry Wood in Houston's 9-6 win Monday. He immediately left the game and was later placed on the disabled list. ... RHP Ricky Stone has appeared in his 61st game, tying the club record for rookies set by Charley Kerfeld in 1986.
