COLLEGE PARK, Maryland (Ticker) -- Ninth-ranked Maryland should have little trouble in its final non-conference matchup of the season when it hosts lowly Loyola College.

Maryland (13-4) has won four straight and eight of nine and is in sole possession of first place in the Atlantic Coast Conference with a 6-1 mark. The Terrapins have won seven straight at home and are 9-1 in their first season at the Comcast Center.

Steve Blake scored 20 points and Drew Nicholas added all 13 of his points in the second half as Maryland posted a 75-60 victory over North Carolina State on Thursday. The Terrapins overcame a sub-par effort by Ryan Randle, who was in foul trouble and had six points and four rebounds.

Maryland has won 90 of its last 91 home non-conference games.

Loyola (4-14) owns the worst record in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference with a 1-9 league mark. The Greyhounds have lost three straight and seven of eight.

Lucious Jordan scored 18 points as Loyola suffered a 73-54 loss to St. Peter's on Wednesday. The Greyhounds committed 22 turnovers and never recovered from a 16-point deficit at halftime.

Maryland has won seven straight against Loyola since the Greyhounds' last victory in the series in 1948. The teams are meeting for the first time since the Terps rolled to a 92-62 rout on November 29, 1994.

Loyola is 0-10 against ACC opponents.
