Lakers rise to the occasion, make history
Los Angeles laid claim to the best postseason winning percentage in NBA history Friday night. With the 108-96 Game 5 win over the Sixers, the Lakers ended the 2001 postseason with a record of 15-1 to wrap up their second consecutive league title. Shaquille O'Neal had 29 points and 13 rebounds on the way to his second Finals MVP award.
