ATLANTA (CNN/SI) -- Gone are the days when even the nation's best players waited two or three years to contribute. Based solely on what they did on the field last year as freshmen -- no high-school accolades or coaches' hype -- we can put together a likely unbeatable team consisting only of rising sophomores (true or redshirt).

This year's class is so deep, there wasn't even room for such studs as Indiana QB Antwaan Randle El, ULCA RB DeShaun Foster or Oklahoma State TE Marcellus Rivers. But we think you'd take the field with the squad assembled below.
