Miami rises above
It was a wild season of college football, with title contenders suddenly emerging, then falling by the wayside just as quickly. But through it all, Miami stood above the fray. The Hurricanes capped a perfect year Thursday with a 37-14 rout of Nebraska in the Rose Bowl.
