Spence M. Wilson/Allsport

He is an outstanding athlete with great size and speed and is a guy with rare abilities when it comes to a workout and testing. He has a great track background as a sprinter, but at this stage of his career, he is a much better athlete than football player. Some NFL teams have him on their boards as a DS, while others like him as a big, physical developmental type DC. He is not a natural player at this stage, although he has some range and cover skills. His speed is a little bit straight line and he isn't real nifty in his hips and turns and his instincts are not what they should be. He does have the physical size and strength to develop into a strong bump and run type DC and should be able to jam receivers at the LOS, but may never develop into a premier cover guy. He is a little bit of a long strider and actually may be a "faster than quick" type athlete. He should contribute on special teams, although he is not as physical as his size would indicate. He will catch NFL teams attention with his measurables, but he is not anything close to a finished product and will take some time to develop.
