This talented junior is making a dramatic move up draft charts after somewhat surprising everybody by entering the NFL a year early. He is just starting to tap into his skills as he has only two years of college production. He is another big back that has surprisingly good AA & speed. He is a north & south type runner and more of a "slasher" than "glider" and he will attack the hole with good vision and overall run instincts. He has good feet and change of directions and will fight to make yards after contact. He is not a particularly effective outside runner, although he has good moves and elusiveness in the open field. He also catches the ball naturally and is a willing blocker when asked. He is a "no nonsense" type power back that will give a NFL offense a ball control attack and he has the ability to move the chains. If there is a knock on him, he tends to run a little high and has had some slight fumbling problems in the past, but all his negatives are correctable. He is the closest thing to Ricky Williams in this draft even though he is still a youngster and may take a little longer to develop.
