He plays in a wide open passing attack on the college level and actually has a lot of experience as a wide receiver, but will be a TE on the NFL level. He has excellent hands and is very dependable in the passing game. He is excellent in underneath and intermediate routes and knows how to get open, and although he has added bulk and strength in the last year and a half, he is still not a real physical player and will need to improve in the blocking area to be a complete TE. He should be effective in nickel situations and could easily be used as a flex TE, and is a good matchup player. If the NFL team that drafts him uses him properly, he could be a very interesting role player.
