He is a short, stocky power type player that is explosive and gets by on brute force and strength. He has excellent 2 gap skills and really gets a push at the POA. He is a strong inside pass rusher that doesn't have a lot of range and chase qualities, but he is a solid penetrator. He actually has a little bit better quickness than his speed would indicate and he is a much better athlete than his body type would suggest. He tends to get a little heavy and sluggish at times and will need to be monitored and will probably require a strong off-season. As talented as he is, he can sometimes look like an underachiever and his motor does not always seem to be running. Where he is drafted will come down to his individual workouts in the spring and the team that picks him will likely have a DL coach that feels that he can form a relationship with Dingle and push him to reach his maximum. He is a little bit of a gamble, but has a nice upside if a team "hits" on him.
