Although he is at a small school, he started his career at Ohio State and he is a very athletic big man with a lot of potential. He certainly passes the eye test and he is a very active player with good inside quickness and a nice first step. He handles his body well, uses good leverage and he can be a force as an inside penetrator. He is a little "quicker than fast" and has surprising agility and balance for his size. He is not always as productive as he should be, especially on his level of competition and he can disappear from games and while he has quickness, he does not have a lot of range or speed. This is a player that at times is close to being an underachiever, but in the right system with the right coach, he could be a nice "sleeper" pick. There is a lot to like about his skills.
