He has some versatility as he has played both OG and OT in his fighting Irish career and he seems to be a guy that is quietly moving up the draft charts. He has nice overall size and adequate athletic ability, although his game is more of the short area variety. He has decent overall strength, but he tends to play high which hinders his leverage and power, but he does a nice job of locking on in a short area. Because of his tendency to be a waistbender, he has some trouble with bull rushers that try to overpower him and he also struggles when facing a speed rusher. His skills are probably more suited to be an inside player, but is a tough and smart guy that has played on a high level of competition. He would be a nice complimentary player for a NFL team. This is the kind of guy that tends to grow on you.
