Lend them your ears Players, coaches sound off on Super Sunday

ATLANTA (AP) -- What the players and coaches were saying after St. Louis' 23-16 win over Tennessee in the Super Bowl on Sunday: "When you're a little kid, you dream about scoring touchdowns, not stopping them. I just grabbed him, held on and fell down. When I looked up, the clock said 'zero-zero,' and we had won the Super Bowl." -- St. Louis' Mike Jones after stopping Kevin Dyson at the 1-yard line on the final play "You dream of making an interception or a sack, not necessarily a tackle to win the game. But we'll take that. Without a doubt, it's the biggest play of my career. It won a Super Bowl on the last play." -- Jones "To come this far and be a half-yard short is just a sick feeling. When he got his hands on me, I thought I'd break the tackle. But he slid down to my foot, like you're supposed to, and made a great play. I realized as soon as I stretched out and was going down that I didn't get the point of the ball over the goal line." -- Dyson "I thought we could do it, but we came up about six inches from having a chance to do it. As much as this hurts, we have an awful lot of pride in coming so close." -- Titans coach Jeff Fisher "When I saw that ball go in the air, I said, 'It's a touchdown.' I was ready to call coach [Mike] Martz and tell him to get the script ready for overtime." -- Rams coach Dick Vermeil "You may think of this as a Hollywood story, but it's just my life." -- Kurt Warner, who won the MVP after throwing for a Super Bowl-record 414 yards "We didn't want to go to overtime, so he had to make a big play. They had been in man-to-man coverage all day long, and there was no trickery. Kurt just had to make sure that he got the ball to me. And he did." -- St. Louis' Isaac Bruce, who caught the game-winning 73-yard touchdown "I've been in the other locker room. I've been in the Super Bowl and lost, so I know how it feels.
