TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -- The Tampa Bay Buccaneers changed travel plans for Sunday's playoff game in Philadelphia because of a snowstorm expected to hit the Northeast.

The Bucs originally planned to fly on Saturday afternoon, but instead pushed their departure up to Friday night in hopes of avoiding delays or the prospect that their charter flight might not be able to land in Philadelphia.

"We're going to go and see if we can get there before the weather comes in," head coach Tony Dungy said.

Dungy said the club will conduct its usual team meetings and Saturday morning walk-through practice at the team hotel.

"It won't be a distraction. The tough thing is getting messages to families," he said. "Everybody was anticipating going [Saturday], so that's always difficult. ... But once we get up in the air, we'll be ready to go."
