PLAYERS
Biography: Did not play last season after suffering a knee injury in spring practice. All-conference selection in 2010 with defensive
totals of 52 tackles/4 interceptions/7 pass breakups and an average of 29.2 yards on 11 kick returns, taking one back for
a score. Played in four games as a true junior in 2009, making four tackles before suffering a season-ending knee injury.
Full-time starter his first two seasons at Arizona State, posting 49/2/7 as a sophomore and 33/1/6 as a freshman.
Positives: Athletic prospect who's watched his development get slowed by multiple knee injuries. Fluid transitioning with opponents off the line, quickly locates the pass in the air and displays a solid burst to the ball out of his plant. Rarely challenged by opponents. Shows skill in zone and effective facing the action. Negatives: Not a physical defender. Injury history will raise several red flags. Analysis: Bolden was highly rated coming into the 2011 season and displayed top skill when healthy and on the field. His knee injuries the past two years will likely push him into the late rounds of the draft or even out of the seven rounds. If he's able to get back to health and show durability, Bolden has the athleticism and football skills to play in the NFL. Projection: 7-FA
