PLAYERS
Biography: Started three games as a senior, posting 29 tackles/2 interceptions/6 pass breakups. Junior totals included 33/1/3 when he
also averaged 23.1 yards on seven kick returns.
Positives: Potential zone cornerback with special teams ability. Plays heads-up football, keeps the action in front of him and displays good route recognition in zone coverage. Stays with assignments, shows a burst to the ball and has the ability to quickly close to the action. Occasionally lined up over the slot receiver, jams opponents at the line of scrimmage and quickly flips his hips in transition to run downfield with opponents. Negatives: Occasionally takes himself from the action. Minimally productive in college. Analysis: Brooks flashed ability the past two seasons yet was unable to entrench himself in the talented secondary at LSU. He offers ability in dime packages as well as special teams and comes with good upside. Projection: 6th ![]() John Biever
