Biography: Three-year starter awarded all-conference honors since his junior season. Totals last year included 33 tackles/8 tackles loss/3 sacks after he had 28/9.5/4 as a junior. Career-best totals of 44/12.5/6 came during his sophomore season.

Positives: Athletic defensive line prospect who impacts the game when focused on the task at hand. Plays with good lean, pad level and gets leverage on opponents. Displays terrific movement skills, shows a burst of closing speed and easily changes direction. Gets off the snap with a quick first step, smooth moving down the line of scrimmage and nicely redirects to ballcarriers. Displays an array of moves with his hands working to get off blocks.

Negatives: Lacks consistency in his game and very streaky. Easily controlled at the point of attack by a single opponent. Does not display a sense of urgency in his game. Work ethic is a question mark.

Analysis: After a productive sophomore season, hopes were high for Winn in the scouting community, but his game has since leveled off. He's athletic and versatile yet will never break into a starting lineup until he decides to apply himself on a consistent basis.
