Positives: Quick-footed ballcarrier who is best running between the tackles. Sees the field, finds running lanes and effectively uses his blocks. Keeps his feet moving on contact, displays elusiveness and falls forward when tackled.

Negatives: Must pick up the blocking intensity. Shows hesitation in his game. Average receiver out of the backfield. Lacks top speed.

Analysis: Herron has shown flashes of skill the past two seasons yet never displayed enough ability to project as a featured runner for the next level. He could be effective as a rotational runner on an NFL roster.
