PLAYERS
Biography: All-conference special teams performer as a senior. Receiving totals last year included 56 receptions/716 yards/1 TDs with
an average of 15.4 yards on 29 punt returns with two more scores. Moved into the starting lineup as a sophomore yet struggled
with injuries the next three seasons, missing all of 2010 with a foot injury.
Positives: Explosive slot receiver who also stands out on special teams. Displays terrific overall quickness, smooth releasing off the line of scrimmage and immediately gets to top speed. Sharp route-runner, quickly gets into breaks, stays low on exit to position himself to make the reception. Extends his hands to make the catch away from his frame. Displays strong hands. Plays with terrific balance and body control and displays skill running after the reception. Stays on his feet and works hard throughout the play. Negatives: Unnecessarily body catches on occasion. Had three years of his college career interrupted by injury. Marginally productive until last season. Analysis: Wylie would be a terrific addition to any roster as a slot receiver/return specialist and will produce at the next level if he's able to stay healthy. He possesses the physical skills and mental makeup to see action as a rookie. Projection: 5-6
