Positives: Athletic defensive back prospect with an inconsistent game. Fast, displays an outstanding burst of recovery speed to make up for mistakes. Looks the part, quick up the field to defend the run and shows a tremendous burst out of his plant. Offers enough range to go sideline to sideline and make plays outside the numbers. Recognizes coverage assignments on the inside. Squares into ballcarriers and wraps up ballcarriers.

Negatives: Too quick up the field and over pursues the action on occasion. Does not consistently position himself correctly in deep center field coverage. Hesitant reacting to the ball, inefficient and takes too many steps to the action.

Analysis: Martin has a lot of upside but an undeveloped game. He offers starting potential for the next level yet must improve his fundamentals and concentration and make more plays when the ball is in the air.
