Positives: Explosive prospect who can be used at several spots on the defensive line. Fires off the snap with a terrific first step, penetrates the line of scrimmage and effectively uses his hands to protect himself. Plays with good pad level, shows ability as a pass rusher and flashes strength in his lower body, bull rushing opponents off the line. Works hard, chases the action to get involved and keeps his feet moving on contact. Shows ability in space and solid movement skills.

Negatives: Possesses an average closing burst. Lacks top size/speed numbers for any position on the defensive line.

Analysis: Guyton has displayed steady progress the past two seasons yet has size/speed limitations. His quickness and movement skills dictate a move to the three-technique tackle position, but he shows enough ability to also get consideration as a two-gap end.
