PLAYERS
Biography: Three-year starter who posted 95 tackles and broke up three passes as a senior after putting up 93 tackles and one pass defense
during his junior campaign.
Positives: Tough run-defending safety who is best between the numbers. Keeps the action in front of him, flies around the football and works hard to stop ballcarriers. Fluid moving in reverse and quickly locates the pass in the air. Shows solid ball skills in the middle of the field and works well with teammates. Negatives: Struggles getting outside the numbers and lacks sideline-to-sideline range. Possesses just an average burst to the play out of his plant. Inefficient and does not consistently take proper angles to the action. Analysis: Mitchell is an aggressive safety with solid size/speed numbers and a defensive back who could be very effective in a zone system. Projection: 6th |
