Inquiring minds want to know: the return of Jaromir Jagr would add to the Pens' momentum. AP

PITTSBURGH (AP) -- The Pittsburgh Penguins were without NHL scoring champion Jaromir Jagr for the second day in a row Sunday as they met New Jersey in Game 3 of their Eastern Conference quarterfinal series.

Jagr did not skate during the warmup and Penguins officials said he would not play.

Jagr injured a groin late in Game 1 of the series Thursday and did not play in the Penguins' 4-1 victory Saturday at the Meadowlands.

Jagr is listed as day-to-day and his status for Game 4 on Tuesday in the Civic Arena is uncertain.

The Penguins also were expected to be without forward Robert Lang, who reinjured his ankle Saturday and also did not warm up Sunday.
