Lewis has been covering the sport for 24 years at every level -- including four World Cups (1986, 1990, 1994 and 1998), two Olympics (1984 and 1996), F.A. Cup final, European Cup Winners Cup final, two FIFA Youth World Championships (U-17 and U-20), the U.S. Youth Soccer Association nationals, the NCAA finals.
Lewis has published two books on soccer and is currently working on a third. He has contributed articles to numerous publications, including Sports Illustrated, Associated Press, USA Today and the New York Times.
Based in Long Island, NY, Lewis is serving his second term as president of the Professional Soccer Reporters Association and is a member the U.S. Soccer Federation Hall of Fame Committee.
