The Yankees were coming off a 4-3 12-inning thriller in Game 1, and Game 2 starter Roger Clemens’ last outing was a one-hitter against the Mariners. Clemens’ call to the mound also represented the first time he faced the Mets' Mike Piazza since Piazza was beaned in the head on July 8. The Rocket dominated once again, while the Yankees jumped out to a six-run lead. The Mets exploded for five runs in the final frame, coming up just short as the Bronx Bombers captured a 2-0 series lead. Click on the images below for action from the game.
