SYDNEY, Aug 24 (AFP) - Leeds United's Australian international Harry Kewell is in serious doubt for the Olympic football tournament, but Ajax Amsterdam pair Jason Culina and Joey Didulica have been cleared to play.

Australian Olympic coach Raul Blanco said there were real concerns about Kewell as he was struggling to shake off a problem with his Achilles.

Blanco spoke with the Premier League side's medical team overnight and the news was not encouraging.

"They are quite concerned that the problem is not responding as well as expected and their concern is our concern," Blanco said.

However goalkeeper Didulica, suffering a back problem, and midfielder Culina, not fully recovered from a hamstring complaint, have been given the green-light.

Ajax originally refused to let the pair travel as it has a policy that only players who are 100 per centfit are allowed to leave the Netherlands.

"We received confirmation today (Thursday) that they're now fit and can travel," Blanco said.

Australia are grouped with tournament favourites Italy, Olympic champions Nigeria and Honduras.
