CNNSI Host: Welcome to today's NFL Draft chat with Jamal Reynolds. Welcome Jamal glad you could join us.
Jamal Reynolds: Thanks for having me!

From wildcat: How would you feel getting a piece of Chris Weinke if you were to face him in a game?
Jamal Reynolds: I think it'd be a little different - going out and hitting one of my old teammates. I'm used to him being on my side, so it'd be different.

From NoleCommando: Jamal, do you feel which ever team takes you will try to use the Peter Boulware experiment and transform you into a linebacker, or would you prefer to stay at defensive end full time?
Jamal Reynolds: I would prefer to stay at defensive end, but if I had to go outside, I think I have the ability to do so.

From Rick Reighard in Cleveland: Who was the funniest person on your Florida State team?
Jamal Reynolds: I'll say Marvin Minnis (Snoop) or Sharon Dorsey and then I'd probably say Tay Cody.

From Rob: What was the best college football game you have ever played in?
Jamal Reynolds: Probably going down to Florida last year and beating them in the swamp.

From wildcat: Are you looking to be an every-down player as a first year starter? Or do you recognize any limitations you may have or the possibility of getting into a defensive scheme where you are asked only to be an edge pass rusher? What type of scheme would best suit your skills?
Jamal Reynolds: I'll probably say one where I rush the passer. I'd play every down if I had to.

From JeffWal From Aiken, S.C.: Where do you see yourself going in the draft? What teams have shown an interest?
Jamal Reynolds: Pretty much all show interest, but they aren't going to draft out of position. They may be high on you but they won't be able to draft a position that isn't needed by the team. So you have to sit around on draft day and wait and see where you go.

From Chad: Not that I think you will fall this far, but if you fell to the Steelers, could you help them in their scheme? In Pittsburgh they talk about using you like Derrick Thomas. Can you see that type of roll for you?
Jamal Reynolds: I kind of like the scheme Pittsburgh has. I think it would fit me well. A lot of guys that play that position up there go to the Pro Bowl, and I think I could do well up there.

From Rick Reighard in Cleveland: If you weren't playing football, what do you think you would do for a living?
Jamal Reynolds: I think I'd help kids or do something in the community, something constructive, with kids that need guidance.

From wildcat: Was it a let down when Snoop couldn't play in the championship game? Did it affect any chemistry in the locker room?
Jamal Reynolds: It was a let down, but being at FSU we had a lot of situations occur and it was just something you had to play through. Everybody knows from watching that game that Snoop could've helped us out.

From Rob: Who is the best player you have played against in college?
Jamal Reynolds: I'm going to have to say Thomas Jones from Virginia and Tory Holt from N.C. State. And Michael Vick, I almost forgot about him.

From DavidSF: What's up Jamal. The 49ers badly need a defensive end. Have you talked with them at all, and would you want to play there?
Jamal Reynolds: I talked to them at the Combine and I saw a few mock drafts that have me going there. I think I could step in and be an impact player there.

From Mr: Who was your biggest influence growing up?
Jamal Reynolds: Probably my dad. He played college football. He kept us focused and pushed us to do the right thing. And made sure we had the grades to play and were working hard to be the best.

From Anthony: How far do you think FSU will go this year?
Jamal Reynolds: I think it'll be like a rebuilding year because there aren't a lot of seniors. But I think they'll do fine. Every year Florida State finds a way to win.

From Chad: What one quarterback do you want to chase after more than any other?
Jamal Reynolds: I think I'd like to get after Michael Vick one more time.

From in Jacksonville, Fla.: Where do you expect to go, and where would you like to go?
Jamal Reynolds: Everybody would like to be the No. 1 pick. I'm hoping for Atlanta, Chicago or New England somewhere in there. Everyone knows Michael Vick will be the No. 1 pick.

From JeffWal: Your two brothers and sister were also quite athletic. How have they helped as you have matured as a player?
Jamal Reynolds: Not just as a player, but off the field, away from athletics. They kept me focused on my books and being an all-around person -- on and off the field.

From Seminole: Which player in the NFL would you most like to play with?
Jamal Reynolds: Deion Sanders. He's done it all, and is now saving himself. I think he'd be a great person to play with and be around.

From wildcat: Who's your favorite music artist? Any particular pregame pump up songs?
Jamal Reynolds: My favorite artist is Tupac. I don't have any song that pumps me up. I try to keep my head clear and think about what I am going to do.

CNNSI Host: That's all the time we have today with Jamal Reynolds. Jamal, thanks for joining us and good luck on Saturday.
Jamal Reynolds: Thank you.
