The retirements of Wayne Gretzky, John Elway, Reggie White, Michael Jordan and Steffi Graf left fans reeling. Some have argued that the retirements of such titans was good for sports -- their retirements made room for the superstars of tomorrow to step up -- while others lament the loss of some of the greatest talents in sports.
